Rev. Bertha Dunlap was born in Camden New Jersey and presently reside in Collingswood New Jersey. She is the mother of three children and five grandchildren and two great grands. She is an active member of the St. John  Baptist Church in Camden New Jersey under the pastoral leadership of The Reverend Dr. Silas M. Townsend.  One of the greatest milestones in her life was coming out of Islam, coming out of darkness into His marvelous light. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior in 1995. Since then, she has been to Eastern Seminary, graduating with a degree in biblical studies. She became an evangelist and in 2012 was one of the five to be ordained as a Reverend, which made history and all of the country.

 She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rowan University.

 

Rev. Dunlap proclaims that "If the Lord can save a Muslim such as I can transform me into what I am today, God can save anybody. It doesn't matter who you are or what you have done, what you believe or what religion you think you believe, God can turn that around."  

 

Rev. Dunlap is the ministry leader of Hedges and Highways ministry, and Out of Darkness ministry.

 

Her favorite scripture is Psalms 91:1-16. But most importantly, she loves the Lord, for he has freed her.
